We source domestically raised pork in fresh, never-frozen blocks. By mincing it just before production, we maximize its flavor and aroma.
House-Made Wrappers
All our gyoza wrappers are made in-house at our own factory. Using our original flour blend, we carefully adjust the thickness and elasticity to achieve the perfect balance with the filling. From the satisfying chew when pan-fried to the smooth, silky texture when boiled, every detail is thoughtfully designed.
Fresh-Frozen
Frozen slowly overnight, just as it is—locking in flavor. To preserve the freshly made taste and texture, SHOWA’s gyoza are frozen uncooked, slowly over the course of a full night. This careful freezing process allows the wrappers to develop a pleasantly chewy texture, while the filling matures gradually, enhancing its depth of flavor. Though time-consuming, this extra step is what makes our gyoza truly delicious.
